We are looking for a detail-oriented Mid/Senior QA Engineer with strong experience in web, API, mobile, automation, and performance testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring product quality across multiple platforms, designing effective test strategies, identifying critical edge cases, and driving continuous improvements in software reliability and release confidence.

You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to build scalable quality processes and deliver high-quality products to customers.

Key Responsibilities
•    Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
•    Perform manual testing for web, mobile, and backend services.
•    Design and maintain automated test suites for UI, API, and end-to-end workflows.
•    Execute and analyze API testing using tools such as Postman, Newman, or custom automation frameworks.
•    Perform performance, load, and stress testing using tools like JMeter.
•    Validate data integrity across databases, APIs, and business workflows.
•    Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects throughout the development lifecycle.
•    Conduct regression, exploratory, integration, and system testing.
•    Collaborate with engineering teams to improve testability, quality standards, and release processes.
•    Participate in sprint planning, requirement reviews, and risk assessments.
•    Contribute to test automation strategy and continuous improvement initiatives.
•    Provide quality metrics, testing reports, and release readiness assessments.


Required Qualifications
Experience
•    4+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
•    Experience testing complex web-based applications and APIs.
•    Hands-on experience with both manual and automated testing.
•    Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Technical Skills
•    Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and QA best practices.
•    Experience with automation frameworks such as:
•    Cypress
•    Playwright
•    Selenium or equivalent frameworks
•    Solid API testing experience using:
•    Postman
•    Newman
•    REST APIs
•    Experience with SQL and database validation, preferably PostgreSQL.
•    Programming/scripting experience with Python, JavaScript, or similar languages.
•    Performance testing experience using JMeter or similar tools.
•    Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and test automation integration.
•    Experience using bug tracking and test management tools such as Jira and Zephyr.
•    Understanding of Git version control.

 
Nice-to-Have
•    Experience testing mobile applications (Android/iOS).
•    Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, or cloud-native environments.
•    Experience with data validation and ETL testing.
•    Familiarity with insurance, fintech, e-commerce, or high-traffic platforms.
•    Experience building automation frameworks from scratch.
•    Exposure to contract testing and service virtualization.
