Software Engineer (Back-End)

As a Senior Backend Engineer at Snapp Doctor, you'll design and maintain high-performance backend services for the online health platform. You'll work on cloud-native, distributed systems while collaborating with cross-functional teams and contributing to architectural decisions. Additionally, you'll mentor team members and help define engineering best practices. 

Duties:

• At least 3+ years of Backend development experience, preferably with Golang.
• Strong expertise in designing and developing high-performance, scalable distributed systems.
• Proficient in debugging, performance optimization, and bottleneck analysis.
• Experience with asynchronous (Async) mechanisms such as RabbitMQ and Kafka for high-performance distributed systems.
• Experience with synchronous (Sync) mechanisms such as gRPC and RESTful APIs for inter-service communication.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes / OpenShift and containerized environments.
• Ability to design and maintain robust, fault-tolerant, and reliable systems.
• Strong teamwork, ownership, and work ethic.

Requirements:

• BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field
• 3+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience in building Web services
• Experience using GIT for source version control and CI/CD
• Strong understanding of SQL and relational databases (MySQL) and best practices for database design
• Comfortable with an agile, flexible approach to feature development
• Experience in unit testing

Preferred Competencies:

• Experience with high-traffic APIs and performance tuning.
• Experience with distributed tracing.
• Experience in Agentic development
