Senior DevOps Engineer

Our organization is searching for a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead our group of DevOps specialists in maintaining and improving our software infrastructure. You'll collaborate with software engineers, QA engineers, and other IT pros in deploying, automating, and managing the software infrastructure. As Senior DevOps engineer you will also be responsible for architecting containers, setting up CI/CD pipelines, implementing security governance policies, monitoring programs, and cloud infrastructure.

‍Roles and Responsibilities

• ‍Collaborate with software developers, quality assurance engineers and IT professionals to guarantee smooth deployment, automation and management of software infrastructure.
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for multiple software applications and environments.
• Create and maintain monitoring systems to guarantee high availability and performance for software applications.
• Automating software deployment, configuration, and upkeep processes
• Troubleshoot software infrastructure issues and collaborate with the team to resolve them.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, then utilize them to enhance your software infrastructure.

Requirements and Skills

-‍ With 5+ years of experience in DevOps or related field.
- Acquaintance with software development processes and methodologies.
- Experience with continuous integration/delivery tools such as GitLab, Jenkins.
- Experience in setup and maintenance of version control and tools like GitLab.
- Excellent scripting skills in Bash, Ansibel, Python.
- Good knowledge of Containerization like Docker, Kubernetes is mandatory.
- Knowing of security best practices includes vulnerability management, incident response, and disaster recovery.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
