Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate international shipments by road, sea, and, when required, rail.
- Coordinate with refineries, freight forwarders, transport companies, customs brokers, and customers.
- Monitor cargo loading, transportation, customs clearance, and final delivery.
- Prepare and review shipping and export documentation.
- Follow up on freight costs, operational payments, and invoice discrepancies.
- Prepare operational reports and resolve logistics issues.
- Good command of English (written and spoken).
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms and shipping documents (B/L, CMR, Packing List, Commercial Invoice, Certificate of Origin).
- Familiarity with import/export procedures and customs regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience in bitumen, petroleum, or petrochemical exports is an advantage.
- Strong communication, negotiation, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
