About the Role

EcoTrust is seeking a skilled and articulate Tele-Sales & Consultative Account Specialist to bridge the gap between financial technology and user decision-making. In this role, you will not perform cold calling; instead, you will engage directly with warm leads, including active trial users, inbound inquiries, and expired subscribers.

Your mission is to understand user needs, demonstrate the unique value of the EcoTrust investment decision-support tool, and guide users through purchasing or renewing their premium subscriptions. This role requires a blend of consultative selling, basic financial market literacy, and active listening—ensuring users view EcoTrust not just as a content platform, but as an essential companion for their investment journey.

 
Core Responsibilities
Consultative Sales & Pipeline Management: Conduct outbound calls to warm leads, trial users, and churned accounts. Convert inquiries into premium subscriptions using a tailored, value-based sales approach.
Product Advocacy: Clearly articulate the value proposition of EcoTrust. Help users differentiate between a specialized investment decision-support tool and generic market signals or educational channels.
Trial & Renewal Conversion: Proactively engage with trial users to address friction points and guide expired subscribers through renewal by addresssing past usage issues and showing ongoing platform value.
Adherence to Compliance & Financial Boundaries: Navigate conversations with financial literacy (risk, yield, portfolio diversification, asset classes) while strictly avoiding guaranteed return promises or direct, unauthorized investment advice.
CRM & Data Integrity: Meticulously document call outcomes, user objections, and follow-up tasks in the CRM to ensure accurate pipeline tracking and feedback loops for marketing and product teams.
 
Key Qualifications & Skills
Proven Sales Track Record: Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in tele-sales, inside sales, or account management (experience in SaaS, FinTech, or subscription-based platforms is a strong plus).
Financial Market Literacy: A solid understanding of basic investment concepts (risk/return profiles, asset classes like gold, forex, stocks, fixed income, and crypto) to hold credible conversations with retail investors.
Consultative Communication: Exceptional active listening skills with the ability to simplify complex financial product features into tangible user benefits.
Resilience & Objection Handling: Strong ability to handle rejection positively and navigate pricing or utility objections with patience and confidence.
Tech Savvy: Proficiency in using CRM tools and prioritizing daily call lists systematically.
 
Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Outbound/Inbound Call Volume and Success Rates.
Conversion Rates (Leads to Premium, Trial-to-Paid, Renewal/Win-back Rates).
Sales Revenue generated and average deal/subscription value.
CRM data accuracy and pipeline hygiene.
Quality Assurance (QA) scores on call compliance and consultative script adherence.
 
First 30-60-90 Day Milestones
Day 30 (Onboarding & Product Mastery): Fully comprehend the EcoTrust platform, subscription tiers, and target user personas. Master the sales script and compliance boundaries while logging all activity correctly in the CRM.
Day 60 (Independence & Objection Handling): Manage the lead pipeline independently. Confidently handle common objections, execute trial conversions, and begin demonstrating consistent conversion improvements.
Day 90 (Performance & Optimization): Meet or exceed target sales quotas. Optimize your personal sales funnel and actively contribute actionable feedback to improve marketing assets and sales scripts.
