We are looking for a Purchase Accountant to join our finance team. This position is responsible for day-to-day purchase accounting operations and supporting other accountants to achieve unit objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and timely processing of all purchase invoices and perform regular general ledger reconciliations.
• Manage, monitor, and control accounts payable (AP) reports and aging balances.
• Prepare, analyze, and update detailed inventory and stock valuation reports.
• Maintain proper documentation and handle periodic and annual balance reconciliations with suppliers.
• Record, update, and maintain comprehensive financial information and purchasing data within the ERP system.
• Audit and ensure the accuracy of all registered invoices for tax compliance and reporting purposes.
• Collaborate closely with the procurement and warehouse teams to streamline the purchase registration process.
• Carry out other financial tasks, reporting duties, and ad-hoc assignments as requested by management.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a closely related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in accounting, specifically focused on accounts payable or purchases.
• Previous experience working within distribution, logistics, or fast-moving supply chain companies is highly preferred.
• Solid familiarity with the fast-paced framework, agility, and dynamic environment of startup companies.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in Excel for financial data analysis.
• Strong familiarity with standard accounting practices, principles, and tax regulations.
• Preferably proficient in ERP systems, with hands-on SAP system experience considered a strong advantage.
