Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Backend Developer to join our RUNC engineering team and contribute to building secure, scalable, and high-performance fintech systems.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing backend services, implementing complex business logic, improving system performance, and contributing to technical decisions.

You will collaborate closely with:

Your responsibility will be transforming business requirements into reliable backend solutions that support financial operations at scale.

Key Responsibilities:

●        Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs.

●        Implement complex business logic based on fintech requirements.

●        Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following engineering best practices.

●        Design and optimize database structures, queries, and data access patterns.

●        Develop RESTful APIs and backend integrations.

●        Participate in architecture discussions and technical design decisions.

●        Perform effective Code Reviews and provide technical feedback.

●        Identify and resolve performance issues and technical bottlenecks.

●        Improve system reliability through better error handling, monitoring, and logging.

●        Participate in debugging and resolving Production Incidents.

●        Collaborate with QA teams to ensure software quality and test coverage.

●        Work closely with Frontend, DevOps, Infrastructure, and Product teams.

●        Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing.

●        Support continuous improvement of backend architecture and development processes.

Key Requirements:

●        5+ years of professional Backend Development experience.

●        Strong experience building production-grade backend applications.

●        Strong expertise in:

○        Python

○        Django REST Framework

○        REST API Development

●        Strong experience with:

○        PostgreSQL

○        Database Design

○        Query Optimization

○        Data Modeling

●        Practical experience with:

○        Redis

●        Experience designing and developing:
