The group is the leading private owned food processing and distribution network that accounts for a major share of the Iranian market with exports to the regional countries such as Iraq, Canada, Oman and CIS countries.
Solico Group is specialized in dairy and ice cream with a daily intake of 1.5 million liters of milk, as well as processed meat products, ready and frozen meals with a daily output of 50 tons. The other specialized fields are production of sauces and dressings. The group also enjoys the comfort of having its own plant for supply of packaging material.
We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Export Development and Support Supervisor to act as a strategic bridge between our international markets and internal operations. This role is not just about following orders; it is about driving market expansion, managing the complexities of product registration, and ensuring our products meet the regulatory standards of new territories. You will serve as the vital link between global customers and our production/R&D teams, ensuring that market development initiatives are executed with technical precision and commercial efficiency. Responsibilities
Market Expansion & Support: Drive the identification, development, and expansion of export markets within designated territories, supporting the overall growth strategy.
Cross-Functional Coordination: Orchestrate the end-to-end export order process by liaising with Export Sales, Production Planning, QC, R&D, and Procurement to ensure orders are ready and compliant with target market requirements.
Customer Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for international clients, managing inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring rigorous follow-up on all corrective actions.
Regulatory & Compliance Management: Lead the preparation, renewal, and maintenance of licenses, certifications, and regulatory documentation required for seamless market entry and sustained operations.
Product Lifecycle Support: Coordinate the product registration process and support New Product Development (NPD) and launch initiatives in international markets.
Supply & Manufacturing Liaison: Negotiate and coordinate with manufacturing plants to ensure product availability and alignment with export timelines.
Operational Intelligence: Monitor market development milestones, prepare analytical performance reports, and identify operational gaps to recommend continuous improvement initiatives.
Team Leadership: Lead, develop, and evaluate the Export Development & Support team to ensure departmental objectives are met with excellence.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Food Engineering (or a dual background/strong proficiency in both areas is highly preferred).
Experience: A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Market Development, Export Operations, Export Sales Support, or International Business, specifically within the FMCG industry.
Regional Expertise: Prior experience working with or managing markets in the CIS region is considered a significant advantage.
Technical Knowledge:
Deep understanding of export market entry requirements and international documentation.
Familiarity with New Product Development (NPD) and product launch protocols.
Language: Professional proficiency in English is mandatory, with a focus on business correspondence and the ability to comprehend complex technical/regulatory documentation.
