Data Engineer (SSIS, T-SQL & Advanced SQL)

We are seeking a highly technical Data Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for building robust data pipelines, mastering complex data transformations, and ensuring high performance across our database environment. The ideal candidate will be an expert in T-SQL and possess deep experience in SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).

Key Responsibilities:

• ETL Development: Design, build, and maintain high-performing SSIS packages for data integration, warehousing, and migration.
• Advanced SQL Development: Write, optimize, and debug complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and views to support business requirements.
• Performance Tuning: Analyze execution plans, identify bottlenecks, and optimize T-SQL code and database structures to ensure maximum system efficiency.
• Data Pipeline Management: Maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot automated ETL jobs, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and timely delivery.
• Collaboration: Partner with analysts and developers to translate business needs into scalable data solutions.
• Best Practices: Enforce coding standards, perform code reviews, and maintain comprehensive documentation for all data workflows.

Requirements:

• Core Competency: Proven experience as a Data Engineer or SQL Developer with a strong portfolio of SSIS projects.
• SQL Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in T-SQL and Advanced SQL (Common Table Expressions (CTEs), window functions, recursive queries, dynamic SQL, etc.).
• ETL Expertise: Hands-on experience building, deploying, and scheduling complex SSIS packages.
• Analytical Skills: Strong ability to write complex joins, aggregates, and perform data manipulation across large datasets.
• Problem-Solving: Exceptional ability to troubleshoot production data issues and optimize slow-running processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with performance tuning and optimization of SQL Server databases.
• Experience with BI tools like Power BI or SSRS.
