Job Description

As a Senior Financial Control & Reporting Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the company's financial records, preparing timely financial reports, supporting budgeting and forecasting activities, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. You will work closely with the Finance Director and cross-functional teams to provide reliable financial insights that support business decisions.
Responsibilities
  • Maintain the general ledger and ensure the accuracy of accounting records
  • Prepare journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and month-end closing adjustments
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations and resolve outstanding items
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Assist with board reporting, external audits, and statutory financial reporting
  • Support tax filings and ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies
  • Maintain and improve financial controls, reporting processes, and finance documentation
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in financial accounting, reporting, or financial control
  • Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
  • Familiarity with IFRS or other applicable accounting standards
  • Experience working with ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
