We are looking for a skilled and motivated SQL Server Administrator to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing our Microsoft SQL Server databases to ensure high performance, availability, and security.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain Microsoft SQL Server databases.
- Monitor database performance and implement improvements.
- Perform database backups, recovery, and disaster recovery planning.
- Manage database security, permissions, and access controls.
- Troubleshoot database issues and ensure system reliability.
- Optimize queries, indexes, and database structures.
- Support development teams with database design and performance tuning.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience as a SQL Server Administrator or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server architecture and tools.
- Experience with backup, recovery, and high availability solutions.
- Familiarity with T-SQL scripting and performance tuning.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
