Ecotrust’s Asset Management Team is looking for a Senior Fundamental Analyst with strong expertise in company valuation, industry analysis, and investment fund assessment. In this role, you will be responsible for turning financial and market analysis into clear, actionable insights that can support investment decisions and portfolio management processes. This position is suitable for professionals with hands-on experience in analyzing listed companies, industries, and investment funds, who can combine financial statements, periodic reports, economic developments, and market conditions into accurate and decision-oriented recommendations.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct fundamental analysis of listed companies and key industries in the Iranian capital market
- Analyze financial statements, earnings reports, management reports, and corporate disclosures
- Build and maintain financial models for company valuation and performance forecasting
- Evaluate industry structures, supply chains, competitive dynamics, and key profitability drivers
- Prepare analytical reports on companies, industries, investment funds, and market trends
- Translate financial and market analysis into clear investment conclusions and actionable recommendations
- Assess the performance, structure, risk profile, and investment strategy of mutual funds and other investment vehicles
- Monitor economic news, monetary and fiscal developments, commodity prices, exchange rates, and market conditions
- Analyze the impact of macroeconomic developments on companies, industries, and investment funds
- Conduct financial and economic research and collect relevant market data
- Present analytical findings to the Asset Management and Investment teams
- Contribute to portfolio reviews, investment discussions, and asset allocation decisions
- Continuously monitor companies and industries and update analyses when new information becomes available
- Collaborate with other analysts and cross-functional teams to improve the quality of investment outputs
Requirements- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Financial Engineering, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- At least 2 years of professional experience as an analyst within a financial institution
- Proven experience in fundamental analysis of companies and industries
- Strong knowledge of financial statement analysis
- Advanced understanding of industries listed on the Tehran Stock Exchange, including their supply chains and profitability drivers
- Experience preparing analytical reports on companies, industries, and market trends
- Ability to turn complex analysis into clear and practical investment conclusions
- Experience evaluating and analyzing investment funds
- Experience monitoring economic and market developments and assessing their impact on industries, companies, and funds
- Strong research, data collection, and analytical skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling
- Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Strong motivation for continuous learning and professional development
Preferred Qualifications- Professional certifications issued by the Iranian capital market authorities
- Experience working at an asset management company, brokerage firm, investment fund, portfolio management firm, investment bank, or other financial institution
- Familiarity with valuation methods such as DCF, relative valuation, and asset-based valuation
- Experience working with financial databases and capital market information platforms
- Familiarity with SQL, Python, Power BI, or other financial data analysis tools
