Ecotrust’s Asset Management Team is looking for a detail-oriented, responsible, and investment-savvy professional to support the preparation, review, and execution of investment recommendations.

In this role, you will work closely with financial data, investment portfolios, and trading processes. You will help the analysis team ensure that investment recommendations are prepared and executed accurately, efficiently, and on time.

This position is ideal for someone who is comfortable working with numbers and financial data, has strong Excel skills, understands investment concepts, and can perform effectively in a fast-paced and time-sensitive environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with the Asset Management and Analysis teams to prepare investment recommendations
2. Review and validate asset, pricing, and portfolio data
3. Prepare the files and datasets required for buy, sell, and portfolio rebalancing recommendations
4. Perform calculations related to asset allocation, profit and loss, and portfolio changes
5. Verify the accuracy of figures, calculations, and outputs before execution or distribution
6. Work with large financial datasets and Excel-based operational files
7. Coordinate and follow up on investment-related operational processes
8. Document activities, processes, and results accurately
9. Collaborate with Product, Data, and Technology teams to improve and automate investment operations
10. Identify potential errors, discrepancies, and operational risks in data and processes
11. Support the timely and accurate execution of investment decisions

Requirements

1. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, filters, PivotTables, and data management
2. Ability to work with and validate financial data
3. Hands-on trading experience or practical familiarity with buying and selling financial assets
4. Good understanding of investment concepts, portfolio management, asset allocation, profit and loss, and risk management
5. Strong numerical and analytical skills
6. High attention to detail and accuracy
7. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines
8. Strong organizational, execution, and follow-up skills
9. High level of ownership and accountability
10. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
11. Strong interest in investment, trading, and asset management

Preferred Qualifications

1. Previous experience at a brokerage firm, investment fund, asset management company, portfolio management firm, investment platform, or another financial institution
2. Experience working with investment portfolios or trading platforms
3. Familiarity with capital markets, investment funds, gold, currencies, commodities, cryptocurrencies, or other asset classes
4. Familiarity with data analysis tools such as Power BI, SQL, or Python
5. Understanding of risk-control procedures and post-trade operations

You should be someone who carefully reviews numbers, double-checks outputs, takes ownership of results, and remains accurate under time pressure.
