The Infrastructure Manager is responsible for designing, managing, and optimizing secure, scalable, and reliable IT infrastructure to support business operations. This role oversees network, systems, virtualization, automation, security, and data center operations while leading the infrastructure team and driving continuous improvement, high availability, and future-ready technology solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain high-performance, secure, and scalable IT infrastructure to support business operations.
• Oversee network architecture, ensuring high availability, security, and optimal performance based on advanced networking principles such as VXLAN and SDN.
• Manage Linux-based systems, ensuring efficient system administration, monitoring, automation, and security.
• Develop cloud adoption strategies and oversee the transition to cloud-based environments in the future, ensuring cost-effectiveness, security compliance, and integration with existing infrastructure.
• Implement and maintain infrastructure automation strategies using tools like Ansible, Terraform, and Python scripting.
• Oversee network security, including firewall configurations, VPN management, and security compliance.
• Optimize network resiliency and performance by monitoring traffic, system logs, and security events to proactively address potential issues.
• Supervise the deployment and management of virtualization and containerized environments.
• Understand Software-Defined Networking (SDN) and lead the adoption of Cisco ACI.
• Oversee data center operations, including power management, cooling, hardware provisioning, and physical security.
• Ensure high availability and disaster recovery readiness for data center infrastructure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure IT infrastructure supports business needs effectively.
• Lead disaster recovery and business continuity planning efforts.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing infrastructure and processes.
• Provide leadership, mentoring, and skill development for the infrastructure team.

Experience:

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in infrastructure management, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience in managing enterprise network infrastructures and Linux system administration.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco ACI, network security solutions, and advanced networking concepts such as VXLAN and SDN.

Requirements:

• Deep expertise in network architecture and design, including routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, load balancing, segmentation, and network security.
• Strong knowledge of Linux system administration, including troubleshooting, performance tuning, capacity planning, patching, and automation.
• Solid understanding of Windows Server infrastructure, including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and enterprise identity services.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure strategy, architecture, and migration planning, with the ability to design on-premise environments aligned for future cloud adoption.
• Proficiency in infrastructure automation and configuration management tools such as Ansible, Terraform, and shell scripting.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), standardization, and repeatable environment provisioning practices.
• Hands-on experience with virtualization and containerization technologies such as VMware, KVM, Docker, and related infrastructure platforms.
• Strong experience with monitoring, observability, and centralized logging solutions such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, and Zabbix.
• Knowledge of storage and backup infrastructure, including SAN, NAS, RAID, replication, backup strategies, and disaster recovery planning.
• Strong understanding of high availability, business continuity, redundancy, failover design, and incident response planning.
• Knowledge of IT security principles, risk management, vulnerability management, hardening, and compliance frameworks.
• Experience with Python and other scripting languages for infrastructure automation and operational efficiency.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipeline implementation, platform support, and integration with infrastructure operations.
• Ability to lead capacity planning, performance optimization, root cause analysis, and service reliability improvement initiatives.
• Experience with documentation, change management, asset management, and operational process standardization.
• Familiarity with vendor management, infrastructure budgeting, technology evaluation, and technical decision-making.
