To support, implement, and evolve network infrastructures that enable agile, secure, and scalable environments for development and testing. The NetDevOps Engineer plays a critical role in bridging the gap between development and IT operations by designing programmable and cloud-native networks, automating network and security processes, and ensuring the performance, reliability, and security of containerized and cloud-based services. This position involves close collaboration with development, security, and operations teams to create and maintain a resilient and secure NetDevOps ecosystem aligned with modern DevSecOps practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify repetitive and time-consuming tasks in network operations such as device configuration, software updates, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Develop automation tools using open-source scripting languages and frameworks (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, Python, Golang).
• Implement automation solutions for network configuration, IP management, DHCP/DNS services, and other core operations.
• Ensure seamless integration between different automation tools using APIs and data exchange mechanisms.
• Standardize common processes and shared data models for unified management and reporting.
• Design and develop user-friendly interfaces to simplify access to automation tools.
• Conduct training workshops to familiarize network engineers with automation platforms and tools.
• Provide guidance to operations teams on implementation and optimization of automation solutions.
• Promote a culture of automation across the organization and encourage best practices.
• Measure adoption and usage rates of automation tools across teams.
• Identify challenges and barriers to effective deployment and address them systematically.
• Incorporate feedback and evolving needs to continuously enhance automation capabilities.
• Align network automation initiatives with organizational strategy and business objectives.
• Participate in the design of network architectures and policy frameworks.
• Offer technical consultation and support to project teams regarding network management and automation.
• Monitor performance and security of cloud-based network infrastructures.
• Design and manage scalable and reliable network solutions for cloud environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues in development, test, and production cloud environments.

Required Qualifications:

• Proficient in traditional and virtual network concepts (Routing, Switching, VLANs, VRFs, etc.).
• Solid understanding of Software-Defined Networking (SDN), particularly in DevNet and cloud environments.
• Practical experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Python (Netmiko, NAPALM).
• Ability to develop and maintain playbooks, scripts, and infrastructure as code (IaC).
• Understanding of DevOps principles, GitOps workflows, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficient with version control systems like Git and platforms such as GitLab CI or Jenkins.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, OpenStack, Kubernetes).
• Ability to design and implement service discovery, load balancing, and service mesh mechanisms.
• Experience in configuring and supporting container networking.
• Knowledge of network security concepts including segmentation, firewall policies, and ACLs.
• Ability to implement security policies for internal and external DevNet and container traffic.
• Familiarity with tools such as Cisco ISE, next-generation firewalls, and SIEM solutions.
• Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix).
• Strong troubleshooting skills for network-related issues in DevOps and cloud environments.
• Proficiency in using logs and traffic analysis for diagnosing and resolving incidents.
• Strong team collaboration with development, operations, and security teams.
• Skilled in technical documentation, internal training, and effective communication.
• Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and learning.
