Talano is looking for a Senior Product Designer to create intuitive, effective, and engaging digital experiences.

In this role, you will work across the product design process—from understanding user problems and exploring solutions to validating designs and supporting implementation. User experience will be central to your work. You will examine how people interact with the product, identify friction across key journeys, and design solutions that are simple, clear, and easy to use.

You will work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Data Analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure design decisions reflect user needs, product insights, technical considerations, and business goals.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end user experiences, from early exploration and user flows to prototypes, final interfaces, and engineering handoff.
• Review and optimize user journeys to create seamless and engaging experiences across the product.
• Design clear, accessible, and easy-to-use interfaces while maintaining a high standard of visual quality and consistency.
• Identify friction within key user funnels and propose improvements that increase conversion and reduce drop-off.
• Plan and conduct user interviews, surveys, and other research activities to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points.
• Plan and run usability tests for new features, complex workflows, and product redesigns.
• Design and evaluate experiments, including A/B tests and fake-door tests, to validate assumptions and understand user behavior.
• Combine quantitative product data with qualitative research to make informed design decisions.
• Monitor the performance of released experiences and identify potential usability issues.
• Work with Product and Data teams to define success metrics for design improvements.
• Benchmark relevant competitors and similar products to identify useful patterns, gaps, and opportunities.
• Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, interaction designs, and high-fidelity interfaces.
• Collaborate with Engineers throughout development to ensure the final product reflects the intended experience.
• Present design decisions clearly, explain the reasoning behind them, and incorporate relevant feedback.
• Contribute ideas that improve the user experience and support business growth.

Requirements

• Proven experience designing and delivering digital products, preferably in a B2C environment.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating your UX process, problem-solving approach, and contribution to product outcomes.
• Strong understanding of user experience principles, interaction design, information architecture, and usability.
• Experience conducting user research and translating findings into practical product improvements.
• Ability to analyze user behavior, product data, and research insights to identify meaningful design opportunities.
• Strong analytical thinking and a structured approach to solving complex problems.
• Experience with usability testing, prototype validation, A/B testing, or similar experimentation methods.
• Strong visual design skills with close attention to hierarchy, consistency, interaction details, and overall quality.
• Ability to work independently on complex design challenges while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to communicate design decisions clearly and respond constructively to feedback.
• A creative and curious mindset, with a genuine interest in understanding users and improving their experience.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and move between broad user journeys and detailed interface design.
