Job Description
We are looking to hire a Legal and Contracts Specialist to join our Legal Department. The selected candidate will work under the supervision of the Legal Team Lead and will be responsible for reviewing, drafting, and following up on contracts, preparing legal documentation, and supporting the day-to-day activities of the Legal Department.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, revise, and negotiate a wide range of commercial, procurement, service, and construction contract agreements.
- Provide legal advice and guidance to various business units on contractual and legal matters.
- Identify, assess, and manage legal risks associated with contracts, and recommend appropriate risk mitigation strategies.
- Ensure contracts comply with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Prepare, review, and maintain legal correspondence, documents, and records.
- Collaborate with technical, finance, commercial, procurement, and other departments throughout the contract lifecycle.
- Follow up on legal disputes and contractual claims, and coordinate with external legal advisors or competent authorities when required.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the organization's contract management processes, templates, and standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law, preferably with a specialization in Private Law, Commercial Law, Economic Law, or International Commercial Law.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in corporate legal affairs or contract management.
- Solid understanding of drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts.
- Good knowledge of Civil Law, Commercial Law, and other regulations governing corporate activities.
- Strong ability to prepare legal correspondence, reports, and documentation.
- Ability to read, understand, and review legal documents and contracts in English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and standard office software.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage, classify, and track multiple documents and matters simultaneously.
