Backend Developer (C# & .NET)

Job Description
We are looking for a Mid-Level Backend Developer with at least 3 years of professional experience in designing, developing, and maintaining backend services within a microservices architecture. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with the .NET ecosystem, C#, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, and Redis. This role requires active participation in an Agile environment, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to maintain, troubleshoot, and improve existing services. The candidate should also communicate effectively with team members and cross-functional squads and be capable of using AI-powered tools responsibly to improve development productivity, testing, debugging, and documentation.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain backend services using C# and .NET.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of systems based on a microservices architecture.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and integrations with internal and external services.
• Work with PostgreSQL, including data modeling, query optimization, and performance improvements.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve service issues across development, testing, and production environments.
• Maintain, refactor, and improve existing services to increase their reliability, scalability, performance, and maintainability.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, testing activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, refinement sessions, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate effectively with Product, QA, DevOps, and other engineering teams and squads.
• Document APIs, technical decisions, service changes, and operational procedures.
• Use AI-powered tools to support coding, testing, debugging, documentation, and problem-solving while complying with security and confidentiality requirements.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of professional experience in backend software development.
• Strong practical knowledge of C#, .NET, and ASP.NET Core.
• Hands-on experience developing and maintaining systems based on a microservices architecture.
• Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining RESTful APIs.
• Practical experience with PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, and Redis.
• Experience working in Agile teams and familiarity with Agile/Scrum practices.
• Strong troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience maintaining production services and handling operational issues.
• Ability to read and understand technical documentation in English.
