Software Engineer

Responsibilities

•    Develop, maintain, and enhance backend services using one of PHP, Python, or Go.
•    Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following engineering best practices.
•  Design and optimize SQL queries for efficient data retrieval and database performance.
•   Build and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services.
•  Utilize caching technologies such as Redis to improve application performance.
•  Work with message brokers (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka, or similar) for asynchronous processing when needed.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production and application issues.
•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, QA, and DevOps throughout the software development lifecycle.
•    Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and knowledge sharing.
•   Contribute to improving system performance, reliability, and scalability.

Requirements

•  2+ years of professional software development experience.
•  Proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages:
•  PHP
•  Python
•  Go (Golang)
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles, data structures, and object-oriented or modular programming.
• Experience with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL, including writing and optimizing SQL queries.
• Familiarity with RESTful API design and development.
• Experience using Git and collaborative version control workflows.
• Basic understanding of caching technologies such as Redis.
•   Basic understanding of asynchronous messaging systems (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka, or similar) is a plus.
•   Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with at least one backend framework or ecosystem (e.g., Laravel, Phalcon, FastAPI, Django, Gin, Fiber, Echo).
• Familiarity with Docker and containerized application development.
• Exposure to microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
•   Experience monitoring and debugging production systems.
• Understanding of software performance optimization and scalability concepts
