Electrical Coordinator - آقا

Purpose Statement:

This role is responsible for the electronics group in Machinery, preparing the daily group status, and monitoring activities and performance related to machine electronics. The role also supports modifications when needed to increase equipment lifetime. Arrange team members across 3 shifts to achieve the best results and prevent technician shortages due to staff leave. Update and follow up on actions raised in OLT and weekly meetings to meet production requirements.

Operational / Professional / Business

• Survey and prioritize related actions based on production requirements.
• Align with the electronics team across 3 shifts and communicate all actions.
• Follow up and track actions with the electronics team to achieve the best results.
• Follow up on consumer complaints with Production and take action accordingly.
• Align with other functions such as Production, QA, IWS, Workshop, and SP/WH to track defined actions related to electronic issues.
• Be familiar with problem-solving tools to find the root cause of abnormal issues.
• Align with the spare parts warehouse and outsource suppliers to purchase needed electronic parts.
• Closely follow up with the Maintenance Coordinator to plan fixes during maintenance days.
• Closely follow up with the RRS Coordinator to ensure spare parts related to electronic devices are ordered and received before maintenance.
• Closely follow up with outsource workshops to ensure recommended electromotors are ready as soon as possible with good quality.
• Collect electrical issues in drives, electromotors, and boards that must be fixed in minimum time; place them on the defined shelf and report to the SP Department and Maintenance Coordinator.
• Prepare required electronic inspection checklists, train staff, update based on production requirements, and coach the team to carry out defined actions during maintenance.
• Organize and coach the electronics team, including managing leave and overtime.
• Ensure all BVT standards are met and adhered to.
• Ensure EHS standards are met during electrical device repair and maintenance execution.

EHS (General Key Factors)

• Ensure full compliance with BVT EHS policy and legislation, and utilize international best practices to meet EHS objectives and targets.
• Drive LTIR (Lost Time Incident Rate) and environmental incidents to zero.
• Maintain sufficient knowledge of EHS matters and risk assessment to manage EHS issues for self and team effectively.
• Minimize exposure of all people on company premises to the risk of injury.
• Provide timely reporting of EHS-related matters.
• Encourage team involvement in continual improvement in all areas of EHS.

Leadership

• Find ways to reduce electronic module cost through modification and repair (increase lifetime of electrical devices with adaptable maintenance).
• Collaborate with and influence other production teams.

Management

• Review and record/archive all electrical device issues and changed parts for each line for audit purposes and as maintenance history.
• Update weekly changed parts for each line, calculate device cost, and share with the production team.
• Track entrusted workshop parts and follow up to ensure readiness in a timely manner.
• Take fast action and closely follow up with suppliers for repair/manufacturing/purchasing of parts needed.
• Be proactive in weekly production meetings; collect statistics for maintenance task lists and ensure completion during maintenance.

Relationship

• Develop business partnering with internal and external stakeholders related to assigned projects.
• Maintain strong relationships with the Maintenance Coordinator and Maintenance Leader for tasks/actions defined in DDS meetings and planned stops.
• Align and follow up with the Maintenance Coordinator and RRS team to ensure electronic modules and parts/units needed for electrical issues are ready.

Innovation

• Find solutions to increase electrical devices’ working hours.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• Engineering Bachelor’s Degree, preferably Electronic Engineering.
• Good command of English.
• Computer literacy with specialty in Microsoft Office.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Success Factors

• All modules are ready for planned maintenance and normal breakdowns.
• Accurate and on-time reporting and updates to the electronics issue tracker, including spare changes and cost.
• Respect EHS and 5S in the workshop area.
• No EHS issues during execution when working with workshop tools, power, electrical cabinets, etc.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of the electronics team and improve skills by arranging required training.
