- Analyze price trends, supply and demand dynamics, and key market drivers.
- Work with market data platforms and analytical or forecasting tools such as Platts and Metal Bulletin.
- Support the team in conducting in-depth commodity market analysis and research projects.
- Monitor market events, industry news, economic developments, and key indicators affecting commodity markets.
- Identify and evaluate relevant data sources used by market participants, including economic data, global indices, industry benchmarks, and market indicators.
- Design practical and insightful charts, tables, and visualizations for analytical reports and market intelligence outputs.
- Contribute to the development of high-quality market insights that support business and product decisions.
- Maintain a strong understanding of global metals markets, particularly steel, as well as petrochemical markets.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in commodity market analysis, market intelligence, research, trading, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of global metals and commodity markets, particularly iron and steel.
- Familiarity with petrochemical markets is an advantage.
- Experience working with commodity market data platforms such as Platts and Metal Bulletin.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret complex market data.
- Ability to identify reliable data sources and assess the relevance and quality of market information.
- Experience creating clear and practical charts, tables, and analytical reports.
