Head of Data Analytics

We are looking for a visionary and execution-oriented Head of Data to build this capability and turn data into one of Wallex's strongest competitive advantages.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute Wallex's Data Strategy aligned with business objectives and long-term company vision.

• Build, lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing Data team across analytics, business intelligence, and data science capabilities.

• Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Finance, Marketing, Operations, and Leadership to identify high-impact opportunities where data can create measurable business value.

• Establish a data-driven culture by enabling teams to make informed decisions through trusted metrics, analytical frameworks, and experimentation.

• Prioritize and oversee strategic analytics initiatives that directly influence growth, profitability, customer retention, operational efficiency, and product development.

• Drive the adoption of AI, machine learning, and modern analytical workflows to accelerate decision-making and improve business performance.

• Define company-wide data governance standards, ensuring data quality, consistency, security, and accessibility.

• Collaborate with Engineering to evolve Wallex's data infrastructure, architecture, and platform capabilities.

• Develop scalable KPI frameworks and executive dashboards that provide clear visibility into business performance.

• Act as a strategic advisor to executive leadership by translating complex business challenges into actionable data strategies.

• Recruit, develop, and retain exceptional data talent while fostering a culture of ownership, curiosity, continuous learning, and high performance.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Data Analytics, Data Science, Business Intelligence, or related quantitative fields.

• 3+ years of experience leading and developing high-performing data teams.

• Strong business acumen with demonstrated experience influencing executive-level strategic decisions through data.

• Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python, with deep understanding of modern analytics methodologies.

• Strong knowledge of statistical modeling, forecasting, experimentation, and data-driven decision-making.

• Solid understanding of data architecture, ETL pipelines, data warehouses, and modern data platforms.

• Experience designing data organizations, processes, and governance frameworks at scale.

• Proven ability to translate ambiguous business problems into structured analytical roadmaps and measurable outcomes.

• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.

• Experience with AI-enabled analytics and modern data tooling is highly preferred.

• Experience in FinTech, Trading, Blockchain, or Cryptocurrency industries is considered a strong advantage.
