We are looking for an experienced Python Tech Lead to help shape the technical direction of our products, drive engineering excellence, and support the growth of our engineering teams.

As a Python Tech Lead, you will be responsible for leading technical decisions, designing scalable systems, mentoring engineers, and collaborating closely with Product, Engineering, and other stakeholders to deliver reliable and high-performing solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the technical design and architecture of backend services and distributed systems.
• Drive engineering best practices in software development, code quality, testing, observability, and deployment.
• Review code, provide constructive feedback, and maintain high engineering standards across the team.
• Mentor and support software engineers in their technical growth and career development.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and other engineering teams to define and deliver scalable solutions.
• Identify and address technical risks, bottlenecks, and architectural challenges.
• Participate in system design discussions and make informed decisions regarding scalability, security, and performance.
• Improve development workflows, deployment pipelines, and operational excellence.
• Contribute hands-on to critical parts of the codebase when needed.
• Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, continuous learning, and technical excellence.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of experience in a senior engineering or technical leadership role.
• Strong proficiency in Python and modern backend development practices.
• Experience designing and building scalable, high-availability distributed systems.
• Solid understanding of software architecture principles and design patterns.
• Experience with web frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, or Flask.
• Strong knowledge of relational and non-relational databases (PostgreSQL, Redis, MongoDB, etc.).
• Experience with message brokers and event-driven architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar).
• Familiarity with cloud-native technologies, containerization, and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong understanding of CI/CD practices and DevOps principles.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
