We are looking for a Senior Network & Security Engineer to help manage and secure our corporate and subsidiary networks. In this role, you will work with networking and security technologies to keep our systems running smoothly and protected from threats. You will be responsible for troubleshooting network issues, configuring security tools, and monitoring for potential risks. Additionally, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of network monitoring, access control, and security automation.

• Responsibilities
• Set up and manage network security policies and protections.
• Troubleshoot and fix network performance and connectivity issues.
• Use Splunk to monitor security events and create alerts for potential threats.
• Monitor network traffic and logs to detect unusual activity.
• Configure and maintain firewalls (Palo Alto, FortiGate, Cisco FTD) to enforce security policies.
• Manage network access control and authentication using Cisco ISE, AAA frameworks, and Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) methods.
• Set up and fine-tune network and security monitoring tools such as Zabbix and Grafana.
• Work with Cisco wireless technologies, including configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization of wireless networks.
• Help secure web applications using web application firewalls.
• Collaborate with other teams to enhance visibility, threat detection, and incident response.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or equivalent experience.
• Certifications like CCNP EI, CCNP DC, or CCNP Security are a plus.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, VPN, Routing, Switching, BGP, OSPF).
• Experience troubleshooting network issues and security incidents.
• Hands-on experience with Splunk for security monitoring and log analysis.
• Experience with firewall configuration and management, including Palo Alto, FortiGate, and Cisco FTD.
• Familiarity with network access control solutions like Cisco ISE and AAA.
• Experience with 2FA implementations for securing network and system access.
• Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Zabbix and Grafana for tracking network and system performance.
• Experience with Linux-based systems is required.
