As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of our infrastructure. You will work closely with the Tech Lead, provide support to junior engineers, and proactively generate tasks based on maintenance best practices to ensure the reliable and efficient operation of our organization’s critical IT systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, plan, install, configure, maintain, and optimize server, storage, datacenter equipment, and systems architecture to meet performance and capacity requirements.
• Manage, maintain, and support Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, ADFS, Azure AD, hybrid identity solutions, and Microsoft Exchange Online to ensure security, integration, and reliability.
• Implement infrastructure upgrades, patches, and security measures.
• Monitor and analyze datacenter resources, including power, cooling, storage, and computing, to forecast future needs, ensure optimal utilization, and diagnose and resolve technical issues.
• Document procedures and services.
• Design and maintain data backup and recovery solutions, including regular backups, testing data restoration procedures, and designing and testing disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity and data integrity.
• Provide guidance to junior engineers, share your expertise, contribute to their professional development, and collaborate with other IT teams to support IT infrastructure projects.
• Provide technical support to end-users and escalate issues as necessary to ensure timely resolution.
• Coordinate hardware procurement and prepare the LOM (List of Materials).

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Demonstrated knowledge equivalent to relevant certifications (CCNA, MCSE, VCAP, Storage+, LPIC2, Azure Fundamentals) is required.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft services (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Azure AD, Exchange).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the field of IT Infrastructure.
• Comprehensive expertise and understanding of server hardware (HPE), storage systems (HPE, EMC), operating systems (Windows, Linux), and VMware virtualization technologies (vSAN, NSX, VDI, vSphere).
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft on-premise and cloud services.
• Experience with design, installation, and configuration of backup solutions, archiving solutions, and related devices (Veeam Backup and Backup Exec are preferred).
• In-depth expertise with monitoring tools such as VeeamONE, vRealize Operations (vROps), and System Center suite (SCCM, SCOM).
• In-depth understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
• Comprehensive experience with storage devices and SAN Storage Fabric.
• Ability to identify and develop automation opportunities in related fields.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and hybrid cloud architectures.
• Strong attention to detail when performing tasks and following procedures.
• Troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration within the team and across other teams.
• Availability for on-call rotation.
