Accounting Supervisor

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Supervisor to lead our accounting team and ensure the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of our financial operations. In this role, you will oversee day-to-day accounting activities, support financial reporting, improve accounting processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient financial operations in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and support the accounting team to ensure high performance and continuous development.
• Oversee daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely execution of financial activities.
• Prepare, review, and validate financial statements, reports, and supporting documentation.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory reporting requirements.
• Coordinate the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and periodic financial reports.
• Monitor cash flow, prepare cash flow forecasts, and support treasury-related activities.
• Conduct internal accounting reviews and coordinate with external auditors during audit processes.
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Collaborate with Finance and other business teams to provide financial analysis and support strategic decision-making.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, reporting efficiency, and financial controls.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or team leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and statutory compliance.
• Experience working with accounting software and ERP systems.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with financial management tools.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
