Backend Developer (PHP/Laravel)

We are a fast-growing company in the Financial Services, Credit, and FinTech industry, looking for an experienced Backend Developer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and is passionate about building scalable, high-availability systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using PHP and Laravel
• Develop microservices-based systems and integrate services through APIs
• Design, optimize, and maintain relational databases
• Deploy, configure, and maintain services in Linux environments
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality
• Collaborate closely with product managers and engineering teams to design scalable technical solutions

Required Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in PHP and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
• Solid experience with Laravel
• Hands-on experience designing and developing microservices
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and message brokers
• Proficiency with Git
• Experience with Docker
• Good understanding of Linux, Nginx, and service deployment concepts
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills

Nice to Have

• Experience working in FinTech or financial systems
• Familiarity with distributed systems architecture
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of performance optimization and scalability best practices
