We are looking for an experienced investment professional to lead the Safe Assets segment within Ecotrust’s wealth management portfolios.
The primary mission of this role is to manage the allocation and composition of safe assets and generate excess return versus the defined benchmark while maintaining disciplined portfolio risk control.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage the gold and FX allocation within Ecotrust wealth management portfolios
• Design investment strategies and allocate capital across instruments within the safe-assets segment
• Generate alpha relative to the defined benchmark
• Make allocation decisions regarding increases, reductions, and rotation across safe-asset instruments
• Manage risk and drawdown within the safe-assets sleeve
• Select and evaluate instruments such as gold ETFs, coins, physical bullion, and FX
• Present investment views and recommendations to the Investment Committee
• Continuously monitor and evaluate portfolio performance
Requirements
• Strong and verifiable experience in asset management or portfolio management in gold and FX
• Experience managing a gold fund or a directly related portfolio is a significant advantage
• A demonstrable track record in returns, alpha generation, and risk control
• Deep understanding of gold, gold funds, FX markets, and the macroeconomic factors affecting them
• Hands-on investment decision-making experience, not limited to market analysis
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in financial institutions
