Job Description
- Creating purchase orders based on contracts and sharing them with suppliers.
- Following up on orders, ensuring deliveries match the shortage lists and production priorities.
- Tracking order readiness with supplier, QC, and warehouse. Escalating delays or deviations (Weight discrepancy, quantity, packaging like IBC, Pallets, etc. immediately.
- Following up with suppliers to confirm delivery schedules, checking their capacity and feedstock availability, and communicating any risks to the planning team.
- Planning and prioritizing daily deliveries according to the warehouse and suppliers’ limitations.
- Working closely with the warehouse team to ensure materials are received on time and according to the correct purchase orders.
- Measuring suppliers’ reliability and reporting order fulfilment monthly.
- Handling non-conformance reports (NCRs) with the quality, procurement and warehouse teams and ensure proper follow-up if returning action is required (both physically and in the system).
- Acting as the main point of contact between suppliers, warehouse, and planning, communicating changes in MOQs, lead times, and other issues, including suppliers’ overhaul plans or similar changes that might affect the supply timeline.
- Ensuring that all documents related to each purchase order are accurately maintained.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in supply planning (FMCG experience preferred).
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build collaborative relationships across functions and with suppliers.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage changing priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Proficiency in English communication
