Position Summary

We are seeking a highly analytical, curious, and motivated Business Analyst to join Sabaidea’s Strategy Department. In this role, you will help shape strategic initiatives, evaluate business performance, identify growth opportunities, and support data-informed decision-making across Sabaidea’s different business lines. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capabilities, a strong understanding of business, structured problem-solving, effective communication, and the ability to convert complex data into clear and actionable recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:

Market and Industry Analysis

• Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and market sizing to evaluate industry dynamics and market potential.
• Monitor customer behavior, emerging trends, technologies, and business models to identify growth opportunities and strategic risks.

Strategy and Business Planning

• Support the development of corporate and business-level strategies through quantitative and qualitative analysis.
• Develop business cases, financial assessments, forecasts, and scenario analyses to provide actionable recommendations for management decisions.

Business Performance and Data Analysis

• Track key performance indicators and analyze the drivers of growth, profitability, customer behavior, and operational performance.
• Transform data from multiple sources into meaningful insights and identify performance gaps and optimization opportunities.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Collaborate with senior managers and cross-functional teams across Sabaidea’s different business lines.
• Structure complex business challenges, align stakeholders, and support the execution of strategic initiatives.

Reporting and Executive Presentations

• Prepare clear, concise, and visually compelling reports and executive presentations.
• Communicate complex analyses, insights, and recommendations through effective storytelling and data visualization.

AI-Enabled Research and Analysis

• Use generative AI tools and effective prompting techniques to improve the speed and quality of research, analysis, and reporting.
• Critically evaluate AI-generated outputs, verify key findings through credible sources, and ensure the responsible and secure use of AI.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Industrial Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field; a Master’s degree is considered an advantage.
• At least 4 years of relevant experience in business analysis, strategy, business intelligence, management consulting, or a similar analytical role.
• Experience in digital platforms, technology, media and entertainment, e-commerce, or subscription-based businesses is preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills.
• Ability to structure ambiguous problems and translate analysis into actionable recommendations.
• Solid understanding of business models, performance metrics, market analysis, and strategic planning.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail, ownership, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
• Practical experience using generative AI tools for research, analysis, and content development.
• Understanding of prompt engineering, AI output validation, source verification, and responsible use of AI.
