We are looking for a detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive QA Engineer to join our team on a part-time and remote basis.
You will work across multiple web and mobile projects, helping us ensure that new features work correctly, follow the intended business logic, and provide a consistent user experience.
We are looking for someone who goes beyond checking the visual appearance of a feature. You should be able to understand requirements, explore different user journeys, identify edge cases, and detect functional or logical issues before release.
Responsibilities
- Review requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Create, maintain, and execute test scenarios, test cases, and checklists
- Perform manual testing across web and mobile applications
- Test complete user journeys, business rules, roles, permissions, and different system states
- Perform functional, regression, exploratory, integration, and smoke testing
- Test and validate APIs using Postman and Swagger
- Verify API endpoints, methods, parameters, headers, status codes, request payloads, and responses
- Use MySQL queries to validate data and investigate unexpected system behaviour
- Compare implemented interfaces with Figma designs and report UI inconsistencies
- Identify functional issues, logical errors, edge cases, and missing scenarios
- Document bugs clearly with reproduction steps, expected and actual results, environment details, and supporting screenshots or recordings
- Retest resolved issues and confirm fixes
- Work closely with product managers, developers, and designers
- Maintain QA documentation and provide clear testing and release-readiness reports
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in manual software testing
- Experience testing web applications and familiarity with mobile application testing
- Strong understanding of software testing concepts and QA processes
- Ability to understand business requirements and end-to-end product workflows
- Experience with functional, regression, exploratory, integration, and smoke testing
- Ability to write clear and comprehensive test scenarios and test cases
- Hands-on experience with API testing using Postman and Swagger
- Good understanding of REST APIs, HTTP methods, headers, status codes, request payloads, and JSON responses
- Working knowledge of MySQL, including writing basic queries for data validation and troubleshooting
- Experience using Jira or similar task and bug-tracking tools
- Familiarity with browser developer tools, particularly Network and Console
- Basic understanding of UI/UX principles and experience working with Figma
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage testing activities across multiple projects and changing priorities
- Ability to work independently while communicating effectively with the team

- Experience testing B2B platforms, marketplaces, or e-commerce applications
- Experience testing multi-role systems and complex business workflows
- Experience testing orders, payments, subscriptions, rewards, discounts, and notification systems
- Familiarity with Git, Docker, and staging and production environments
- Basic knowledge of performance and security testing
- Experience with test automation tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or Appium
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum development processes
