QA Engineer (Web & Mobile)

We are looking for a detail-oriented, responsible, and analytical QA Engineer to join our team on a part-time and remote basis.
We need someone who looks beyond the visual aspects of a task. You should be able to understand the product logic and user behaviour, explore different scenarios, and identify potential issues before release.
Responsibilities

• Review tasks and understand the purpose and logic behind each feature
• Create appropriate test scenarios
• Thoroughly test web and mobile applications
• Test user journeys, roles, permissions, and different system states
• Identify bugs, logical issues, edge cases, and overlooked scenarios
• Report bugs clearly with reproduction steps, screenshots, or screen recordings
• Retest resolved issues and confirm fixes
• Perform general product testing before and after releases
• Collaborate closely with the product and development teams

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in manual software testing
• Experience testing both web and mobile applications
• Strong ability to understand product logic and end-to-end user journeys
• Familiarity with functional, regression, exploratory, and smoke testing
• Ability to identify edge cases and issues not explicitly mentioned in a task
• Experience using task management and bug-tracking tools such as Jira
• Basic API testing experience using Postman
• Familiarity with browser developer tools, particularly Network and Console
• Basic knowledge of SQL and data validation
• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Good time-management skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Ability to read technical tasks and documentation in English

Nice to Have

• Experience testing B2B platforms, marketplaces, or e-commerce applications
• Experience testing multi-role systems and workflows such as orders, payments, discounts, subscriptions, and notifications
• Familiarity with Laravel, Git, Docker, and staging and production environments
• Basic knowledge of performance and security testing
• Experience with Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium
