Software Quality Assurance Engineer (QA)

1) Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for web, mobile, and API-based applications.
2) Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Business Analysts, Developers, and DevOps teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
3) Analyze business and technical requirements to create comprehensive test plans and test scenarios.
4) Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects using issue tracking tools.
5) Perform functional, regression, integration, system, API, performance, and user acceptance testing.
6) Develop and maintain automated test scripts to improve test coverage and efficiency.
7) Utilize AI-powered testing tools to optimize test case generation, defect detection, test execution, and reporting.
8) Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
9) Ensure software quality by validating usability, security, reliability, and performance before production release.
10) Continuously improve QA processes, testing standards, and automation frameworks.
Requirements
1) Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
2) Experience working within Agile/Scrum software development teams.
3) Strong knowledge of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
4) Experience with manual testing methodologies and defect management.
5) Familiarity with automation testing tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or Appium.
6) Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or Swagger.
7) Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git, Azure DevOps, or GitHub).
8) Experience using AI-assisted testing tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Testim AI, Mabl, or similar platforms) to improve testing productivity and quality.
9) Ability to create AI-assisted test cases, generate test data, and analyze defects using modern AI technologies.
10) Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
11) Continuous learning mindset with interest in emerging AI technologies.
12) Strong documentation and reporting skills.
