Job Description

Legal Assistant – Remote, Project-Based
Job Description
Caspian Holding is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and motivated Legal Assistant to support the company’s legal activities through a fully remote, project-based collaboration.
This position is intended for candidates with a formal academic background in Law who are comfortable working with legal documents, conducting research, organizing legal information, and supporting different legal and corporate projects.
The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of legal principles, excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
As Caspian Holding works across different markets and jurisdictions, the selected candidate may also assist with legal research and documentation related to Quebec/Canada and other relevant jurisdictions.
The role also involves the use of modern digital and AI tools to improve legal research, document preparation, organization, and internal workflows.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct legal research using reliable and appropriate sources
Prepare clear legal summaries, internal reports, and supporting documentation
Review contracts, agreements, correspondence, and other legal documents
Identify important clauses, obligations, deadlines, inconsistencies, and relevant legal considerations
Assist with the preparation and organization of legal documents and correspondence
Maintain structured digital legal files, records, and documentation
Support document categorization, archiving, and version control
Assist with tracking contracts, legal deadlines, licenses, renewals, and compliance-related documentation
Support internal legal coordination and follow-up activities
Assist with scheduling and documenting legal meetings when required
Communicate professionally with internal teams and external legal advisors
Conduct legal research involving different jurisdictions, particularly Iran and Quebec/Canada
Use AI tools such as ChatGPT to support legal research, summarization, drafting, document analysis, and workflow improvement
Help improve and organize internal legal processes and documentation systems
Manage assigned tasks and legal projects according to agreed deadlines
Maintain strict confidentiality regarding legal documents, company information, and internal communications

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Law – Mandatory
Formal academic education in Law is required for this position
Strong understanding of legal principles and legal documentation
Ability to conduct structured legal research
Ability to read, understand, and review contracts and legal documents
Good legal writing and documentation skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent attention to detail
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities independently
Ability to work effectively in a remote and project-based environment
Professional communication skills
Reliability, accountability, and discretion
Ability to handle confidential information professionally

Language Requirements
English: Advanced written and spoken communication
French: Strong proficiency is highly preferred
The candidate should be comfortable reading, understanding, and preparing professional documents and communications in English.
French language skills are particularly valuable due to the company’s activities and legal matters related to Quebec and Canada.

Technical Skills
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word
Familiarity with Microsoft Excel
Familiarity with Microsoft PowerPoint
Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook
Familiarity with Microsoft Teams
Strong online research skills
Comfortable using AI tools such as ChatGPT
Ability to use AI tools responsibly for research, document review, drafting, summarization, and administrative legal workflows
Familiarity with task-management, document-management, or contract-management systems is considered an advantage

Work Structure
This position is fully remote and project-based.
The selected candidate will work on individual or ongoing legal projects depending on the company’s requirements.
Each project may have specific responsibilities, deliverables, priorities, and deadlines.
The candidate is expected to manage assigned work independently while maintaining regular communication with the relevant team members.
The working structure is flexible; however, availability for occasional coordination across international time zones may be required.
