About the Role
We’re looking for a Product Manager who is analytical, commercially minded, and comfortable operating in complex, operationally intensive environments.
This role sits at the intersection of product, financial infrastructure, trading, operations, technology, and B2B partnerships. You will help shape WallGold Business into a scalable infrastructure layer that enables banks, fintechs, retailers, and other businesses to build gold and gold-backed financial products on top of WallGold’s capabilities.
You will work across complex problem spaces—from pricing and trading to settlement, lending, liquidity, physical gold, and partner integrations—turning business needs into scalable products and systems that can support multiple partners rather than one-off solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Define product vision, strategy, roadmap, and priorities across WallGold Business capabilities and platforms.
- Identify high-impact product opportunities across trading, pricing, lending, settlement, liquidity, physical gold, partner services, and B2B integrations.
- Develop a deep understanding of gold trading, financial operations, supply, settlement, lending, and partner business models, and translate them into scalable product solutions.
- Map and improve end-to-end journeys for institutional and business partners, from onboarding and integration to trading, settlement, reporting, and ongoing operations.
- Translate complex business, financial, operational, and regulatory requirements into clear product specifications, workflows, and system requirements.
- Design products and capabilities that can be configured and reused across multiple business partners rather than relying on customer-specific implementations.
- Work closely with Engineering, Trading, Treasury, Finance, Operations, Risk, Data, and Business Development teams to shape and deliver products.
- Partner with external businesses and institutional clients to understand their needs, validate solutions, and identify opportunities for deeper adoption and expansion.
- Lead product discovery, prioritisation, backlog management, sprint planning, and cross-functional execution across multiple initiatives.
- Establish clear success metrics and monitor product performance, adoption, operational efficiency, and business impact after launch.
- Analyse trading, pricing, liquidity, settlement, partner, and operational data to identify bottlenecks, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Work closely with Data and Engineering to build the analytical tools, dashboards, and decision systems required to operate and scale the business.
- Support the development of new B2B financial services and infrastructure, including lending, gold trading, pricing, physical gold services, and other gold-related capabilities.
- Identify dependencies, edge cases, operational risks, and scalability constraints early in the product development process.
- Ensure product decisions account for financial controls, regulatory requirements, risk management, and operational realities.
- Continuously improve existing products and processes based on partner feedback, operational insights, data, and market developments.
- Help establish scalable product practices, documentation, and decision-making processes as the WallGold Business product organisation grows.
Requirements & Qualifications
- 2–3 years of experience in Product Management, preferably in fintech, financial infrastructure, B2B SaaS, marketplaces, trading, banking, payments, or other operationally intensive products.
- Strong ability to understand complex systems and translate business and operational requirements into scalable product solutions.
- Experience working with products involving multiple stakeholders, business rules, financial flows, APIs, integrations, or operational processes.
- Strong analytical skills and comfort working with data to understand product performance, operational bottlenecks, and business opportunities.
- Strong understanding of product discovery, prioritisation, roadmap planning, experimentation, and outcome-driven product development.
- Ability to work effectively with Engineering, Data, Operations, Finance, Risk, Trading, and Business teams.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to align technical and non-technical stakeholders around product decisions.
- Commercial mindset and ability to understand how product decisions affect revenue, GMV, liquidity, operational costs, risk, and partner value.
- Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments, make decisions with incomplete information, and take ownership from problem definition through execution and measurement.
- Strong interest in financial markets, gold, fintech, financial infrastructure, or emerging financial products is highly valued.
- Fluency in English and Persian.
