Logistics Area Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Logistics Area Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sourcing strategies for services and indirect materials to support our organization’s operations. This role requires a deep understanding of logistics processes, negotiation skills, and the ability to drive cost savings while maintaining quality and service levels.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for 3–7 distribution centers or agents in the country
• Conduct periodic site visits
• Analyze and monitor cross-border logistics performance
• Manage new projects and new channel releases, and work on new supply strategies
• Liaise with various departments and regional offices for coordination
• Plan and execute process optimization for the team
• Conduct pricing and cost analysis
• Use data to evaluate performance and quality and to plan improvements
• Support selection, recruitment, and onboarding of distribution agents
• Train and empower teammates
• Supervise, guide, and control procedures
• Prepare reports regarding distribution flow
• Monitor and track the progress of deliveries
• Guide and control manpower
• Problem-solve regarding the company’s policies and guidelines
• Review agent performance and provide feedback and suggestions
• Ensure client satisfaction through efficient departmental activities
• Conduct feasibility studies (including preparing presentations and implementing operational proposals)

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of relevant supervisory experience
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, MBA, or related fields
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Outstanding analytical and presentation skills
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
