International Sourcing Specialist (Home & Electronics)

Job Overview:

The International Sourcing Department is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and sourcing products and suppliers from international markets based on the requirements of the Commercial Department and its respective verticals.

The International Sourcing team currently consists of one Senior Manager and two Specialists. The successful candidate will join the team to support international sourcing activities, expand the supplier network, and contribute to the growth of the assigned Home and Electronics categories.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify, research, and develop potential international suppliers within the Home and Home Electronics categories.
• Identify and onboard new suppliers and continuously expand the international vendor network.
• Source and evaluate potential suppliers based on product range, pricing, quality, capabilities, and business requirements.
• Obtain product catalogs, price lists, commercial terms, and other relevant supplier information and communicate them effectively to the assigned commercial verticals.
• Coordinate and follow up on the end-to-end order placement process, from supplier selection and negotiation through order finalization.
• Follow up on Private Label projects and coordinate with relevant internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely progress.
• Explore international markets, e-commerce platforms, websites, and social media to identify new, innovative, and trending products within the assigned categories.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with international suppliers and identify opportunities for long-term partnerships.
• Identify opportunities to secure exclusive distribution or agency agreements with international brands and suppliers within the assigned categories.
• Conduct supplier and market research in key sourcing markets, particularly China and Dubai/UAE.
• Prepare accurate and timely reports, analyses, and presentations using Excel and PowerPoint, based on business requirements and management requests.
• Collaborate closely with Commercial, Supply Chain, Finance, and other relevant internal teams to ensure smooth execution of sourcing activities.
• Monitor international market trends, supplier developments, and product innovations to identify new business opportunities.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of relevant work experience in international sourcing, procurement, trading, or supplier management.
• Experience in Home and/or Home Electronics categories is highly desirable.
• Previous experience working with suppliers in China and/or Dubai/UAE is a strong advantage.
• Experience in private label projects, distribution, or exclusive agency agreements is a plus.
• Strong supplier sourcing and vendor management skills.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple suppliers, projects, and priorities simultaneously.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and results-oriented approach.
• Strong teamwork and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with using AI tools for research, analysis, reporting, and productivity is an advantage.
• Strong internet research and digital sourcing capabilities.
• English: Upper-Intermediate or above is required. An English proficiency test will be conducted as part of the recruitment process.
• Chinese language skills is a plus.
