Responsible for performing, controlling, and monitoring the company's general accounting processes; ensuring the accuracy of accounting entries; preparing and reviewing general ledger and subsidiary ledger accounts; performing account reconciliations; participating in monthly and annual closing processes; and supporting the preparation of financial reports and documents required for audit and tax purposes. Responsibilities:
Perform and review accounting entries related to the company's general accounting operations.
Review accounting documents and supporting evidence to ensure their accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and standards.
Review and control general ledger and subsidiary ledger accounts, identify discrepancies, and follow up on their resolution.
Perform controls over accounts receivable and accounts payable and follow up on outstanding and open items.
Participate in the month-end closing process and ensure accounts are closed accurately and on a timely basis.
Review fixed asset accounts and perform depreciation calculations and related accounting entries.
Prepare and provide documents and information required by internal and external auditors.
Support the preparation of documents and information required for tax matters and relevant tax systems and platforms.
Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies and collaborate with relevant departments to identify and address the root causes of discrepancies.
Review account movements and identify unusual transactions and long-outstanding balances.
Collaborate with Treasury, Human Resources, Procurement, Sales, Revenue, and other relevant departments to ensure accurate recording and control of financial information.
Perform other general accounting duties and responsibilities as assigned within the scope of the position.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Management, or other related fields
3 years of relevant work experience
Strong problem-solving skills and effective communication with cross-functional teams
Strong time management and prioritization skills
Team-oriented and enthusiastic about working collaboratively
