Kidtopia Kindergarten is looking for a professional, experienced, and passionate English Academic Supervisor to join our educational team and lead the academic quality of our English program.
We are looking for someone with strong experience in Early Childhood Education, English language teaching, teacher development, curriculum implementation, and academic supervision who can support teachers, monitor teaching quality, and ensure a consistent, engaging, and high-quality learning experience across all classes.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and evaluate English teaching quality through regular classroom observations.
- Review teachers’ lesson plans and ensure they meet Kidtopia’s academic and quality standards.
- Provide teachers with clear, constructive, and actionable feedback.
- Coach, mentor, and support teachers in improving their classroom practice.
- Identify teachers’ strengths and areas for professional development.
- Support teachers in developing structured, creative, age-appropriate, and engaging lesson plans.
- Ensure consistent implementation of the English curriculum and syllabus across classes.
- Contribute to curriculum, syllabus, lesson-plan, and teaching-material development.
- Plan and conduct teacher training sessions, workshops, and professional development activities.
- Monitor children’s English language development and support appropriate assessment and progress-monitoring practices.
- Promote modern, child-centered, play-based, and developmentally appropriate teaching approaches.
- Support teachers in effective classroom management and student engagement.
- Maintain high standards of teaching, learning, classroom interaction, and professional conduct.
- Collaborate closely with teachers and the management team on academic matters.
- Prepare regular academic reports and communicate key observations, concerns, achievements, and recommendations to management.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of Kidtopia’s academic standards and educational practices.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience in English education, preferably in a kindergarten, preschool, or educational setting.
- Previous experience in academic supervision, teacher training, teacher coaching, or educational leadership is highly preferred.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, TEFL/TESOL, Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field.
- Recognized teaching qualifications such as CELTA, TEFL, TESOL, or equivalent certificates are an advantage.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English.
- Strong knowledge of Early Childhood Education and age-appropriate teaching practices, particularly for children aged 2–7.
- Strong knowledge of curriculum and syllabus design and implementation.
- Familiarity with modern and internationally recognized teaching approaches, including play-based, child-centered, communicative, multisensory, and experiential learning.
- Strong classroom observation, feedback, coaching, and mentoring skills.
- Excellent management, leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with teachers, academic staff, and management.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- High level of professionalism, responsibility, creativity, and commitment.
- Passion for early childhood education and teacher development.
Preferred Qualifications
Candidates with the following experience will be given priority:
- Experience supervising English teachers in a kindergarten or preschool.
- Experience conducting teacher training or professional development workshops.
- Experience developing or implementing English curricula and syllabi for young learners.
- Experience designing or reviewing lesson plans and teaching materials.
- Experience conducting classroom observations and teacher performance evaluations.
- Familiarity with international early-years educational practices and standards.
