Design all website UI/UX in Figma based on SookiBall’s visual identity and digital product requirements.
Analyze the existing website and identify UX, usability, and information architecture issues.
Create user flows, sitemaps, wireframes, and high-fidelity designs for key website pages and user journeys.
Design responsive interfaces for desktop, tablet, and mobile.
Create and maintain a consistent Figma design system.
Design and standardize reusable components, variants, styles/variables, and layout patterns.
Define and maintain typography, color, grid, spacing, and responsive design standards.
Design core website components such as header, navigation, footer, cards, buttons, search, filters, and other UI elements.
Design user experiences for content-heavy sections such as news, video, match, team, category, search, and archive.
Create interactive prototypes in Figma when required.
Prepare designs and documentation for developer handoff.
Collaborate with creative, product, content, and tech teams to translate brand direction into a consistent digital experience.
Consider WordPress theme and page builder limitations during the design process.
Review implemented designs in WordPress and perform design QA to identify and resolve visual and UX inconsistencies.
Identify opportunities to improve usability, accessibility, and overall user experience.
Ensure consistency and scalability across the website and future digital touchpoints.
Requirements
Strong UI/UX and Figma skills.
Professional experience creating user flows, information architecture, sitemaps, wireframes, and high-fidelity designs.
Professional experience with components, auto layout, variants, styles/variables, prototyping, and design systems in Figma.
Strong understanding of UX principles, usability, visual hierarchy, grid, spacing, typography, and responsive design.
Ability to design clean, functional, scalable, and content-focused web interfaces.
Strong HTML & CSS knowledge.
Understanding of responsive and mobile-first design.
Ability to translate business and product requirements into effective UX/UI solutions.
Strong attention to detail and visual consistency.
Ability to collaborate effectively with developers, creative, product, and content teams.
Ability to defend design decisions with logical UX/UI reasoning and incorporate feedback.
WordPress: Practical familiarity with WordPress and page builders is a strong advantage. The candidate should understand WordPress’s structure, themes, templates, content types, and responsive implementation, but WordPress development is not a core requirement of the role.
Nice to Have: Experience with WPBakery/Elementor/Gutenberg, JavaScript, Technical SEO, Web Performance, Accessibility, Google Analytics, Hotjar/Microsoft Clarity, Core Web Vitals, and experience designing sports, media, news, or other content-heavy websites.
