We seek a skilled and talented DevOps Engineer to join our technical team at Takhfifan. The selected candidate must be experienced in managing various services in online business environments. Responsibilities include keeping business services and infrastructure up and running. Close collaboration with development and other teams is required to improve automated processes and monitor different services.

Responsibilities

• Monitor system and database health, proactively identifying and resolving bottlenecks.
• Continuously improve engineering processes, tooling, and platform capabilities.
• Participate in incident response, root-cause analysis, and service reliability improvements.
• Collaborate closely with development and other teams to streamline workflows and improve automation.
• Implement backup, recovery, and disaster-recovery strategies for critical data.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for database and infrastructure operations.
• Participate in on-call rotations and be available for emergency maintenance when required.

Requirements

• 3+ years of proven experience as a DevOps, DBA, Platform, or Site Reliability Engineer (SRE).
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, workload deployments, and troubleshooting in production.
• Practical experience administering and troubleshooting MariaDB and/or PostgreSQL in production (replication, backups, recovery, performance tuning).
• Solid understanding of database performance tuning, indexing, query optimization, and monitoring slow queries.
• Experience designing or implementing data retention and archiving strategies to manage storage growth and compliance requirements.
• Hands-on experience with configuration management tools, particularly Ansible.
• Working knowledge of monitoring/observability/logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Elasticsearch.
• Solid understanding of containerization (Docker) and OCI standards.
• Solid understanding of Linux systems, networking, and security best practices.
