About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Accounting Controller to join our Finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of financial records and reporting processes. You will play a key role in supporting strategic decision-making, optimizing financial performance, and maintaining the highest standards of financial governance across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting operations and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records, journal entries, and reporting processes.
• Prepare and present accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, providing actionable insights into the company’s financial performance.
• Ensure compliance with applicable tax, VAT, social security, and financial regulations while minimizing compliance risks.
• Monitor budgeting and financial control processes to support effective financial management and decision-making.
• Review and validate accounting treatments and booking models for new business initiatives in accordance with accounting standards and tax requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes, controls, and operational efficiency.
• Support audits and maintain proper documentation to ensure transparency and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, or financial controlling roles.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Familiarity with tax regulations, VAT requirements, and Social Security Organization (SSO) regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Experience working with ERP systems; familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics NAV is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and present complex financial data.
• Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
