Senior Software Architect / Technical Project Manager (Endpoint Security & Antivirus)

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Software Architect / Technical Project Manager to lead the architecture, design, development, and delivery of Endpoint Security & Antivirus products.
This is a hands-on technical leadership role, requiring strong software architecture, cybersecurity, and team leadership experience.

Mandatory Requirements
Professional Experience

• Minimum 10 years of professional software development experience.
• Proven experience as a Software Architect, Technical Lead, or Engineering Manager.
• Experience leading complex software projects from architecture to production.

Endpoint Security / Antivirus

• Mandatory: Experience in at least one Endpoint Security, Antivirus, EDR, XDR, Anti-Malware, or Cybersecurity project.
• Experience with Endpoint Agents, security engines, malware detection, behavioral analysis, or threat detection.

Software Architecture & Development

• Strong experience in software architecture, system design, distributed systems, scalability, and secure software development.
• Strong hands-on experience with C/C++.
• Experience with C#, Python, Rust, or Go is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Internals, Win32 API, Processes, Services, File Systems, and system-level programming.
• Windows Driver / Kernel development is a strong advantage.

Backend & DevOps

• Experience with REST APIs, Microservices, PostgreSQL / SQL Server, Redis, Git, CI/CD, and Docker.
• Experience with high-availability and scalable backend systems is an advantage.

Leadership

• Ability to lead and coordinate development teams.
• Ability to define architecture, technical roadmap, milestones, and development standards.
• Strong experience in code review, technical decision-making, troubleshooting, and technical risk management.

GitHub / Technical Portfolio – Mandatory
Candidates must provide their GitHub profile with their application.
Relevant repositories, open-source contributions, or other technical portfolio items should be included where available.

Project Experience – Mandatory
Candidates must provide details of at least one comparable project, including:

• Project type and duration
• Role and responsibilities
• Technologies used
• Architecture
• Specific contribution
• Production status or available evidence

Experience with a commercial Endpoint Security / Antivirus / EDR product is highly preferred.

• IDA Pro, Ghidra, WinDbg, x64dbg or similar tools
• Windows Kernel / Driver Development
• Threat Intelligence / MITRE ATT&CK
• Behavioral / Heuristic Detection
• High-volume Endpoint Telemetry
• Kafka, RabbitMQ, Elasticsearch
• Machine Learning for Cybersecurity
