About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and people-oriented Senior Scrum Master to help our Product & Engineering teams improve collaboration, ownership, team effectiveness, and delivery predictability. This role goes beyond facilitating Scrum ceremonies or tracking Sprint progress. We are looking for someone who understands team dynamics, builds trust, facilitates difficult conversations, and can influence people without formal authority. The ideal candidate combines empathy with accountability and helps teams continuously improve the way they work together and deliver results.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and team discussions, including Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, Retrospective, and Refinement.
• Build an environment of trust, open communication, and constructive feedback.
• Coach teams toward stronger ownership, accountability, collaboration, and self-organization.
• Identify team dynamics, communication gaps, recurring tensions, and behaviors that impact team effectiveness.
• Facilitate difficult conversations and help resolve conflicts within and between Product & Engineering teams.
• Build alignment between Product Managers, Tech Leads, Engineering teams, and key stakeholders. Identify and facilitate the resolution of blockers, risks, dependencies, and delivery challenges.
• Support teams in making clear and timely decisions and ensure relevant perspectives are heard.
• Help Product Managers and Tech Leads improve planning, prioritization, collaboration, and expectation management.
• Turn Retrospective insights into practical and measurable improvements. Protect teams from unnecessary interruptions while maintaining accountability for commitments.
• Use delivery and team-health metrics to identify improvement opportunities—not to control or evaluate individuals.
• Adapt Agile practices to the team's context rather than enforcing frameworks mechanically.
• Promote continuous improvement and share effective practices across Squads.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of relevant experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or in a similar role.
• Proven experience working with Software Engineering and Product teams, preferably across multiple Squads.
• Strong understanding of Scrum, Agile principles, and modern Product & Engineering practices.
• High emotional intelligence, empathy, self-awareness, and active-listening skills.
• Strong facilitation skills and the ability to manage challenging discussions.
• Ability to influence, motivate, and challenge people constructively without formal authority.
• Experience handling interpersonal conflicts, resistance to change, and complex team dynamics.
• Strong coaching, problem-solving, and systems-thinking capabilities.
• Experience with Jira or similar tools, while understanding that tools are not a substitute for team interaction.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and continuously changing environment.
