Business Development Manager

With a vision to become a leading global FinTech enterprise, Wallex is recognized as one of the largest cryptocurrency exchange platforms in Iran, supporting the online trading of over 130 cryptocurrencies.

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to identify and develop new business opportunities, build strategic partnerships, and drive commercial opportunities from initial identification through negotiation, contracting, and execution. This role will contribute to the expansion of new products, markets, partnerships, and revenue streams across Wallex Group.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and evaluate new business, partnership, and market development opportunities across FinTech and financial services.
• Build and develop relationships with companies, holding groups, banks, insurance companies, funds, asset owners, and other potential strategic partners.
• Develop collaboration opportunities across models such as Partnerships, Strategic Alliances, Joint Ventures, Investments, and other relevant commercial structures.
• Identify potential clients and partners for products and services across areas such as RWA, Tokenization, SCF, Crowdfunding, Asset Management, Insurance, and Corporate Finance.
• Own and drive business opportunities from initial outreach and introductory meetings through proposal development, negotiation, internal coordination, contracting, and launch.
• Understand client and partner needs and develop tailored commercial offers and partnership models.
• Negotiate commercial terms, partnership structures, revenue models, and contractual frameworks.
• Build, manage, and continuously develop a strong pipeline of business opportunities.
• Identify cross-sell opportunities and create synergies across different products and companies within the Group.
• Conduct market analysis, market sizing, competitor mapping, and benchmarking for new opportunities and target markets.
• Contribute to the development of business models, revenue models, unit economics, and initial financial feasibility assessments for new opportunities.
• Assess the initial operational, legal, regulatory, and commercial requirements of opportunities in collaboration with relevant specialist teams.
• Support the evaluation of investment, partnership, acquisition, and new business opportunities.
• Design initial commercial pilots or non-technical MVP frameworks to validate selected opportunities.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Finance, Legal, Investment, and other relevant teams to translate business opportunities into executable plans.
• Prepare and present periodic reports on pipeline status, business opportunities, contracts, revenue, and business development initiatives.
• Provide clear, evidence-based recommendations on whether opportunities should proceed, be discontinued, or require further investigation.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in Business Development, Corporate Sales, Strategic Partnerships, Investment, Corporate Strategy, or related fields.
• Proven experience in identifying and developing commercial opportunities and driving negotiations through to contract execution.
• Strong ability to build and maintain professional relationships with senior executives, enterprise clients, and strategic partners.
• Strong negotiation, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage the full lifecycle of a business opportunity from identification through execution.
• Strong market analysis, competitive analysis, and opportunity assessment skills.
• Good understanding of business models, revenue models, pricing, and unit economics.
• Ability to prepare proposals, business cases, and executive-level presentations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex challenges into actionable business opportunities.
• Ability to manage multiple opportunities and projects simultaneously across different priorities and stakeholders.
• Results-oriented, highly proactive, and accountable, with strong follow-through and ownership.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with financial services, FinTech, banking, investment, or capital markets is considered an advantage.
• Experience in Enterprise Sales, Corporate Banking, Investment Banking, Strategy Consulting, Private Equity, Venture Capital, or technology and FinTech companies is considered an advantage.
• Familiarity with areas such as RWA, Tokenization, SCF, Crowdfunding, Asset Management, and Corporate Finance is considered an advantage.
