We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Software Test Engineer to help ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our software products.

In this role, you will work closely with engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle. You will contribute to test strategy, identify quality risks early, improve automation and test processes, and help the team deliver reliable software with confidence.

We are looking for someone who sees quality as a shared engineering responsibility and can go beyond executing test cases by helping shape how software is designed, tested, released, and improved.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in requirement and design reviews to identify risks, ambiguities, and testability concerns early.
• Define and maintain test strategies, test plans, and test cases based on product and technical risks.
• Design and execute functional, integration, API, end-to-end, and non-functional tests.
• Develop and maintain reliable automated test suites.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and improve quality gates.
• Identify, report, and track defects with clear technical context and reproducible scenarios.
• Perform root cause analysis for defects and recurring quality issues.
• Validate releases and contribute to release-readiness decisions.
• Use logs, metrics, and monitoring tools to investigate issues and validate system behavior.
• Identify gaps in test coverage and continuously improve testing processes and tooling.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to improve overall product quality.
• Mentor and support other team members through reviews, knowledge sharing, and testing best practices.

Requirements:

• Strong experience in software testing and quality engineering.
• Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and modern software development practices.
• Strong knowledge of test design techniques, test strategies, and risk-based testing.
• Hands-on experience with both manual and automated testing.
• Strong experience with API testing and automation.
• Experience designing and maintaining UI automation tests.
• Good understanding of integration, end-to-end, and regression testing.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with relational databases and data validation.
• Experience with logging, monitoring, and observability tools.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize quality risks, and take ownership of testing activities.
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable working in complex systems.
