The HR Business Partner (HRBP) acts as a strategic partner to business leaders, translating business priorities into effective people strategies and HR initiatives. The role is responsible for understanding business needs, providing data-driven people insights, and partnering with leaders to enhance organizational effectiveness, employee performance, engagement, and talent development.
Responsibilities- Partner with business leaders and managers to understand business priorities, challenges, and workforce needs.
- Develop and implement people strategies aligned with business goals and organizational priorities.
- Provide strategic HR advice and support on organizational design, workforce planning, performance management, and employee development.
- Drive and support performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, calibration, and development plans.
- Identify talent gaps and support talent management, succession planning, and career development initiatives.
- Analyze HR and workforce data to identify trends, provide insights, and support data-driven decision-making.
- Monitor workforce metrics, including headcount, turnover, retention, performance, engagement, and organizational costs.
- Partner with managers to address employee relations, performance, and workplace challenges.
- Identify organizational and people-related risks and develop appropriate action plans.
- Support organizational development and change management initiatives.
- Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) to ensure effective implementation of HR programs and policies.
- Support workforce planning, budgeting, and people-cost management in partnership with business and HR teams.
- Act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on HR policies, processes, and people-related matters.
Requirements- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in HR, preferably in an HR Business Partner or similar role.
- Strong understanding of HR practices, people management, and organizational development.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to translate business needs into people strategies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with HR and business data.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships and effectively partner with managers and senior leaders.
- Strong understanding of performance management, talent management, succession planning, and workforce planning.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and HR analytics; familiarity with HRIS and people analytics tools is a plus.
