Senior Accountant

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to oversee day-to-day accounting activities, support month-end closing, manage receivables and payables, and contribute to financial reporting and process improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, hands-on SAP experience, and a solid understanding of accounting and audit practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Raise sales invoices, maintain customer SOAs, and follow up for collections.
• Process vendor invoices in SAP and coordinate timely payments.
• Update bank statements, record bank entries, and perform bank reconciliations.
• Execute monthly closing activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Assist management with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors, provide audit schedules, and resolve audit queries.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and statutory requirements.
• Train and supervise interns, reviewing their work for accuracy and completeness.
• Drive process improvement initiatives and automation opportunities to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and internal controls.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5–8 years of accounting experience.
• Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong understanding of accounting, reporting, and audit processes.
• Good analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
