• To lead CAB and Emergency CAB sessions to review, prioritize, and authorize changes, while governing the full Change Enablement lifecycle from initiation to post-implementation review in line with ITIL v4.
• To establish and continuously improve Change Management policies, standards, and governance models, including change categories, risk classifications, and approval frameworks, ensuring compliance and escalation of violations.
• To oversee execution of approved changes to ensure adherence to authorized windows, implementation plans, and operational readiness, minimizing service disruption.
• To assess technical risks and validate deployment strategies, implementation plans, rollback procedures, testing evidence, and readiness across infrastructure, applications, and platforms.
• To govern Infrastructure-as-Code, cloud-native platforms, containers, and database changes to ensure consistency, traceability, auditability, and controlled deployments.
• To perform business and technical impact analysis; define scope, timelines, dependencies, resources, and communication plans for complex changes.
• To enhance Change Enablement processes through continuous improvement, automation (CI/CD, ITSM, CMDB), KPI tracking, trend analysis, and embedding lessons learned.
• To align Change Management with ITSM processes, ensure CMDB accuracy, collaborate cross-functionally, and support major incident investigations and on-call CAB activities.
• To manage vendor compliance and delivery quality, produce performance reports and KPIs, and act as a senior advisor, mentor, and escalation point while promoting best practices.
