Job Description

The Compensation & Benefits Specialist is responsible for supporting and managing day-to-day payroll and compensation activities, ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee salaries, allowances, bonuses, deductions, and related payments. The role requires strong attention to detail, accuracy, confidentiality, and effective coordination with employees and internal departments to ensure smooth and compliant payroll operations.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate and manage the monthly payroll process using the designated payroll software.
  • Ensure all employee assignment and employment dates are accurately updated on a daily basis.
  • Apply the correct salary and wage scales in the payroll system.
  • Verify salary breakdowns and cross-check payroll information to identify and correct discrepancies.
  • Maintain and update employee bank details based on the latest approved information.
  • Maintain accurate payroll records and resolve payroll-related discrepancies.
  • Review and verify overtime payments against applicable rates and contractual terms.
  • Ensure additional earnings are accurately recorded in the appropriate payroll fields, including bonuses, allowances, reimbursements, and other applicable payments.
  • Cross-check and validate payroll deductions, including advances, loans, and other authorized deductions.
  • Calculate applicable bonuses, allowances, and other employee payments.
  • Prepare monthly payroll summary reports for relevant departments.
  • Collect and verify information required for additional earnings and deductions from relevant departments.
  • Maintain and organize employee payroll records and supporting documentation, ensuring all information is complete and ready for monthly reporting.
  • Review and process EOS for employees leaving the company.
Qualifications:
  • 2 years of related experience in the same field
  • Has great communication skills and interpersonal relations
  • Able to handle tasks under pressure, take initiative, and meet deadlines
  • Excellent command of English
